History: Players and coaches of the 1939 New York Giants football club were not shy about patrolling the sidelines and elsewhere with their varsity jackets making sure the opposition and anybody else aware of who the reigning NFL Champions were. The '38 squad included future Pro Football Hall of Famers Mel Hein and Tuffy Leamans. From 1925-1955, the Giants played their home games in the Polo Grounds of upper Manhattan. Today, the NY Giants are currently members of the NFC Eastern Division and play their home games in MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
